Last February, a happily married couple changed their lives completely by just by walking their dog. The unnamed couple from Northern California were taking their dog for a walk on their property when they spotted something buried in the shade of a big tree. Even though they lived in the middle of Gold Country, they never expected this to happen.


             They found rare, mint-condition gold coins in the shade of that old tree.

                    Who knew something so amazing and life-changing could just be buried in the backyard?

                                  There were 1,427 coins, all dating from 1847 to 1894.

The face value of the coins only add up to about $27,000… 

 But coin experts say these coins are so rare, they could be sold for about $1 million apiece.

                                           This is certainly a new way to strike gold.

It’s likely whoever owned the property 150 years ago buried the coins to save them for                                                                       a rainy day.

The married couple, who are self-employed, don’t plan on letting the millions of dollars change them. They will sell the coins online, but are pretty content with their lives.

What makes them SO valuable was that they were somehow in mint condition, even                                         though they were buried in the ground.

The coins, which were in in $5, $10 and $20 denominations, were stored carefully in the ground. The coins, which were in chronological order, show that whoever buried them was just saving up in their personal “bank” and it wasn’t a result of a robbery.

So, if you’re ever walking your dog and see something buried in your yard, dig it up. Younever know, it could be worth millions of dollars (although it probably won’t be). After all, if this couple didn’t bend over to check the rusty can in their yard, they wouldn’t have found the most valuable coin stash in the United States.

MOST POLLUTED RIVER IN THE WORLD

Now this is really disgusting......

If you were to walk by a river and saw trash floating down it, you’d probably be disgusted. Pollution is a terrible, passive attack on the world around us. If it bothers you, though, then we suggest staying out of Indonesia. There is a body of water called the Citarum riverin Indonesia that would make you gag on sight. It is so polluted and filled with trash, you can’t even see the water.

I’m not joking.

Nearly 5 million people live at the basin of the river, but their activity is just a fraction of the reason why the river is so clogged with trash.

Nearby textile factories are heavy contributors of toxic waste to the water.

More than 2,000 industries contaminate 5,020 sq miles of the river with lead, mercury, arsenic and other toxins.

This disgusting river supports local agriculture, water supply, fishery, industry, sewerage, electricity and more.

The extremely dirty river flows downstream into rice paddies where families dangerously use it to clean, cook, wash and drink.

It is known as the most polluted river in the world, and we can see why.

But even on an individual level, humans constantly pollute the river with their trash and waste.

It’s hard to imagine what kind of bacteria and viruses are breeding within the dirty waters of the Citarum river. But, for the local people in Indonesia, it’s one of the water supplies they must rely on to stay alive.

In December of 2008, the Asian Development Bank approved a $500 million loan for cleaning up the river. To this day, it’s still considered one of the world’s most polluted.

This Church seems completely normal from outside but go inside and then......OH mannnnn.......

This quaint Roman Catholic Church located in the Czech Republic is known as theCemetery Church of All Saints. The name is a little strange for a church, but straightforward. And literal. That’s because, once you step inside the church, you’ll see the bones from 40,000 – 70,000 people adorning the walls. Thousands of human bodies are hanging from the walls, ceilings and fixtures inside of this church.

You would never guess that something so gruesome is on display within this church.

Thousands of skeletons hang inside of this church, mainly in the Sedlec Ossuary which is located beneath the main room.

Needless to say, this creepy church is one of the Czech Republic’s most popular tourist destinations.

   Lots of the bodies were buried in the cemetery during the plague in the 14th century.

In the 1400s, a church was built on top of the cemetery and all of the bones were exhumed and put in the ossuary below.

An ossuary is a room that holds the bones of the dead, similar to a mausoleum.

It’s hard not to be impressed by these terrible, but beautiful, works of art.

Can you believe that all of these skeletons were people at one point?

Someone at the church seems to have a sense of humor.

It’s hard to determine if this is respect for the dead or some kind of twisted art display. Given that the bones were exhumed and arranged, at the beginning, by a monk, it seems like it is the former.

Either way, it would be hard to take a breath inside of this church, knowing that thousands of dead bodies surround you, forever silent.
